All tickets for the event have now all been allocated, but further events in the series are planned until Monday 3 June.

The Ramadan Tent Project convened an elaborate open-air Iftar dinner at London’s most renowned place, Trafalgar Square. Addressing the event, London Mayor Sadiq Khan said Britain doesn’t need a new Prime Minister instead, it needs new elections. If elections are held, the Labour Party will win, he said.

He appreciated the different communities for having Iftar dinner together.
A local politician said Islamophobia is dangerous not only for Muslims but also the entire British society.

The organizer of the event said such events will help dispel the misgivings about Islam.
