London to host 2nd Halal Forum as global industry expands beyond certification

2-day forum to bring together business leaders, investors, policymakers and industry representatives
London will host the second edition of the London Halal Forum on Oct. 10-11, bringing together business leaders, investors, policymakers, buyers and industry specialists. Under the theme “Halal Tayyib for Humanity,” the forum will examine the halal economy’s expansion beyond certification and food products into investment, tourism, technology, supply chains, branding and international trade. The two-day forum will be held at London’s Queen Elizabeth II Centre. The event is organized by Halal360, a joint initiative of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development and the Halal Products Development Company. Anadolu Agency supports the forum as its global communications partner. Discussions will particularly focus on how businesses can enter new markets and build stronger cross-border partnerships.   Technology and AI on agenda Technology and artificial intelligence are expected to feature prominently, reflecting the growing role of digital tools in areas such as supply-chain management, market access, certification and business expansion. Participants will also discuss the changing dynamics of global halal markets and the opportunities presented by rising demand for halal products and services across different regions. The event is expected to draw representatives from Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, other African countries and the UK, creating opportunities for businesses and investors to establish new international connections.   Spotlight on Palestinian businesses A Palestine Breakfast event will showcase products from Palestinian businesses while highlighting the international potential of Palestinian cuisine and culinary traditions. The program will also include the Global Business Excellence Gala, organized in collaboration with the AlBaraka Forum for Islamic Economics, as well as a special Turkish dinner. Organizers aim to position halal gastronomy and cultural experiences not only as consumer sectors, but also as platforms for strengthening commercial ties, promoting cultural diplomacy and connecting businesses across international markets. This forum follows the inaugural event held last year, which brought together more than 1,500 participants both in person and online, alongside more than 35 international speakers. The first forum also featured an international exhibition showcasing halal products from more than 10 countries.
