Türkiye's BIST 100 up at weekly open
BIST 100 gains around 23 points at Monday's opening session
Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Monday at 11,745.68 points, up by 0.20% or 23.96 points.
At Friday's close, the BIST 100 fell 2.89% to 11,721.72 points, with a daily transaction volume of 116.2 billion liras ($2.34 billion).
As of 9.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 49.5525 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 55.6610 to the euro, and 66.1155 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $4,180.50, while Brent crude futures were trading at $107.22 per barrel.
