*"When there is unity, there is always victory".*
Publilius Syrus
We all know that London has been the most popular city in the UK and the population has fluctuated over the last two centuries. London's population growth has been driven in large part by migration, both from other parts of the UK and overseas. London has been a migrant, polygot city for all of its recorded history. While living in London, one can never get bored or tired of the colourful life it offers. You can enjoy "the best of the fests" in London. It is also home to some truly magnificent museums, collecting and exhibiting incredible artefacts from around the world. Best of all, many of the largest are totally free to visit, for Londoners and visitors alike. In addition to all of the amazing events and activities, there is this one activity conducted by the former mayor of Enfield, Mrs. Saray Karakus. Everyone remembers her mayoral theme "Together We Are Enfield!". Many people know this lovely lady as a strong, community-minded person and the others know Saray as a playwright and a theatre producer with her own theatre troup "London Emek Theatre".
Recently, they have been preparing for a children's play that is going to be staged on 13 May, 2023.
Saray has been writing theatre plays for both adults and children. She says it is a different pleasure to see the children act on the stage. Taking part in a theatre play makes young children more self-confident and responsible. They also taste the pleasure of "sharing and spreading-love-". Two vitally important elements our world needs these days.
Furthermore, parents are happy and proud as they have had the opportunity to watch their own children do something with a precious message to the society. When the chance to join this kind of activities is presented to our children, the future, hope of our future, they will make the world an ideal place worth living.
In this regard, thanks to dear Saray and her volunteer group members. They are like the new age society architects shaping young bright minds for a better and brighter future.
You see there is still hope, there are still very good things happening in London with the contribution of people from all corners of the world.
"We are each other's harvest, each other's business, each other's magnitude and bond".
Gwendoly Brooks
